Setting Up Studio

We've lived in the new house a month now and are down to a few random boxes and the dreaded dregs... mostly consisting of things we didn't know we owned or still owned. 

lots of tools, camping gear, gardening supplies and Holiday decor lie smothered, covered and mixed in with extension cords and power supplies. 

But once this tornado is cleaned up and organized it will be my office + studio space!  So in order to enjoy the dream of having a studio space i need to over caffeinate and find home for the random things that have ended up here.... anyone need a cot?

Keep your fingers crossed that this is the last photo of this chaos... and it looks pretty and artsy and organized really really really soon! 

*Hoping these photos with a random filter makes this mess look a little more retro and less like a scene from Hoarders.

Liberty Loft

Our first home.. old high school building turned loft. We loved it. Spent 3.5 years fixing it up and enjoying the heck out of it.. until one day.

One day we realized all projects that made sense to do we'd done -  the market was hot to sell and we were reaching point that it made sense to have more space, and we could finally do outside things like garden, projects in our own yard vs taking over inlaws (Thanks guys!) and grill. 

So thats how liberty loft became a thing of the past.. its still feels a little sad, i loved it. But trying to remember it was only clean and perfect the last few weeks we were because we hardly lived in it and i can't wait to make this new house awesome!
